Baby Xander is here!

What a wonderful way to start the holiday season with a gorgeous new baby boy! I had a blast spending time with this lovely family today. I'm kind of partial to Christmas newborns because my little one was born just 4 days before the Christmas holiday--8 years ago. Xander was the perfect little model along with big sister Gianna who was a super big helper. Mom and Dad were extra proud of their new baby boy and the love was felt throughout the entire session. Happy 38 years and pure food bliss!!!

I had a blast tonight! I celebrated my 38th birthday with one of my very dearest friends. We had a 4 course meal at Woodberry Kitchen. I think I died and went straight to food heaven! The meal was 100% organic with absolutely everything made "in house" or at a local farm. Food actually tasted like food and melted in my mouth. If you are ever in Baltimore and you want to taste real food and not cardboard, look me up and I'll get us some reservations for Woodberry Kitchen. So, after mentioning to the waitress that it was my birthday, she presented me with a free sundae and this plate of homemade organic fudge. Even the chocolate was written with organic, homemade chocolate.
Needless to say, 37 was amazing, but 38 so far has been FABULOUS!  xo

Baby it's cold outside!

Today felt like a winter blast. This is the first day that I felt like going home and wrapping myself up in a blanket and drinking tea with crumpets.

I've been working on my ongoing fine art book. Here is a little sneak peak of one of the pieces from the book. I'm making a "hopeful" release date of Summer 2012...or maybe Fall 2012... but we'll see where this year takes me.  Happy over the hump day!

I've been totally MIA for a bit. But quite busy! There have been several engagements as well as several little ones on the scene. So I apologize for the lack of communication.

 In the meantime, here is a quick look at the latest engagement session from our Nation's captial-- Washington, D.C. I had such a blast photographing this couple. I learned that D.C. at sunrise, on a Saturday morning, is quite beautiful!
