Cuddly Wuddly

So this is the only time, I ever talk in baby talk-- when I'm talking to my dog. Okay, and when my kids were like born, but no waaay..they would give me the "moooom" that's embarrassing look now if i break out in that "come mere little cuddly wuddly- well you get the picture. So today I felt like getting a dog. So I did. His name was Max, per the "shelter" we got him from. But I can't have a dog share the same name as my son. So I renamed him Benji. Benji just loooves his new home. He has two wild little boys to play with, and a mommy who likes to cuddle. So everybody is happily cuddling in Benji land. Check 'em out.

Kathryn Short

I am so proud of my friend, my colleague and my uber- talented art buddy, Kathyrn Short...aka (to me only) Katie S. My awesome friend just got word of making it into the MD Art teachers Show (forgive me if the title is wrong) but this is super exciting and a HUMONGOUS accomplishment for my friend to have made this show out of a gazillion art teachers around the state. I will be attending the show with my Fab friend to ooh and aahh at her work. So this post is dedicated to my fellow artist! You go girl!! xo

Byrds Originals

 Yesterday I did the launch shots for Gina at Byrds Originals, which will be debuting this November. I must say, if you're going to buy a gift basket, you MUST check out Byrds Originals. These baskets are uber Fabulous. Gina custom makes all of her baskets according to the client's needs.  Fresh, fun, romantic, artistic...shall I say more? Happy Harvest 2010

Today felt like the first day of FALL. The wind was blowing. The leaves were falling, and there was no better way to celebrate than at a farm. The kids had a blast on hay rides, pig races, eating candy apples, getting lost in the corn maze and so many more activities. We liked this farm so much, we put it on our list for next year. Summer Farms is the BEST! Happy Harvest!
